Art digitalization
Art digitization is the process of photographing/scanning a painting/photo for the purpose of reproduction, archiving or research.
TWO OPTIONS FOR DIGITALIZATION SERVICES
Basic option
Create digital files at the desired resolution for high-quality printing. Basic editing includes: removing dust, adjusting white balance, and adjusting color based on our calibrated monitors. The customer will receive the completed file.
Advanced option
This includes all the criteria in the basic option service, plus an additional service for accurately color-matching print with the original. Customers will receive one completed file and one A4 color proof print.
Years of experience
VG-Lab has experience in digitizing and reproducing paintings by many domestic and international artists. The VG-Lab team consists of experienced photographers who are also experts in light control. Therefore, VG-Lab’s digitization process always achieves high accuracy, and color calibration is always performed systematically.
For each digitization service, the cost is calculated based on the actual size of the original artwork. The digitized file will have the same size as the original artwork at a resolution of 300 PPI.
Disclaimer: We respect copyright law, so for each request to digitize and re-produce an artwork, the customer will be informed of the right to use the intellectual property (the artwork), and they must solely responsible for the use of copyright.
